Cosmoprof/Cosmopack NA Fair Will Be Held in The Las Vegas

Cosmoprof North America 2021, set for August 29-31 in Las Vegas, showcases new beauty tech and multicultural initiatives in a major post-COVID industry reunion.

Beauty industry executives and packaging suppliers will be present in Mandalay Bay from August 29-31, 2021.

Cosmoprof North America will open at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas from August 29th to 31st for the 18th edition. This will be the first time that many beauty industry executives and packaging suppliers have personally participated in major events since the Covid-19 pandemic.

Enrico Zannini, General Manager of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof, said: “North America Cosmoprof is proud to be the first Cosmoprof event held in physical form in 2021.” “We look forward to returning to the exhibition site again and interacting with our community in Las Vegas. CosmoProf NA is the largest b2b beauty exhibition in the Americas. The three main parts of the show will return:

  1. Cosmetics and personal care are the finished products of skin care products, personal care, perfume, cosmetics, organic and natural beauty, and are useful for retailers.
  2. Cosmopack has a leading supply chain company that focuses on product development, formulation and packaging solutions.
  3. The professional beauty zone is a professional channel dedicated to providing hair care, accessories, and household goods for hair salons, beauty salons, and spas.

Professional Beauty Association’s (PBA) North American Hairstyling Awards will be held In Cosmoprof NA

Cosmoprof NA will host the Professional Beauty Association (PBA) North American Hairstyling Award in Mandalay Bay on August 29. PBA Executive Director Steve Scholer shared: “We are delighted to be one of the first major events to bring all departments of the beauty industry back together.”

PBA is the largest and most inclusive national industry organization representing the professional beauty industry. The National Hairdressing Awards is a prestigious professional beauty competition that recognizes the top artists in the hairdressing industry over the past 30 years.

More New Initiatives This Year

Cosmoprof NA collaborated with “Ready to Beauty” to launch several new activities this year, including a first economic data study on multicultural beauty. The results of this research titled “Preparation is the New Green: Economic Data Research on American Multicultural American Business” inspired the formation of a nationwide #black bank and financial project. The new project will help support niche and emerging black/African American beauty entrepreneurs and brands.

Cosmoprof NA also has a mentor program to help promising beauty brands realize their dreams. This project provides exhibitors with a unique opportunity to conduct 20-minute one-on-one coaching with founders, CEOs and executives, benefiting from their decades of experience.

CBD Beauty will also become the new curatorial section of this year’s exhibition. It will feature beauty brands and their suppliers with CBD as the basic ingredient.

A series of educational activities and lectures will provide attendees with opportunities to listen to expert opinions. On Monday, August 30, 9:30-10:30, an interactive demonstration of NPD: The key to the growth of Prestige Beauty will provide inspirational insights to help beauty brands plan their path to recovery in 2021. Larissa Jensen, Vice President, Beauty Industry Consultant, NPD Group (Member of Beauty Packaging Advisory Board), will introduce key learnings focusing on the changing retail landscape.

Also at 10:30-11:30 am on August 30th, “Digital Beauty Consumers” will discuss the core values of digital beauty consumers and how they are redefined. Euromonitor research analyst Irene Zhang will discuss the characteristics of digital beauty consumers-including new concerns about healthy living, personalization, clean beauty and conscious beauty.

As always, attendees will have the ability to build networks and establish new strategic business relationships for future cooperations.
